The Stackhouse Agency, LLC New Office - Contract Dispute & Resolution

Office Contract Dispute & Resolution

September 29, 2016

The Stackhouse Agency, LLC has moved from Kansas to North Carolina.  Business structure documents are on file in both states.  The Firm has also dealt with a Contract Dispute for months.

Months ago, our signed contract and payment were received by the entity.  Our office location was valid in North Carolina and our business met compliance with the locality of the new office.  Due to a contract dispute, our Firm was preparing for legal action against the entity.  For the benefit of our clients and Firm, we notified appropriate parties about the entity that breached our contract.  In preparing to resolve the dispute, we gathered the appropriate legal documents for the jurisdiction of our new office.

Our Firm recently recouped all payment funds for the office location.  The Stackhouse Agency, LLC is pleased to provide quality work-product for our clients.  We are glad to have our new office location in High Point, NC.  While not in Mebane, NC, we are relieved our clients were not impacted in a more harmful way (over an even longer period of time) by the entity.

The Stackhouse Agency, LLC looks forward to providing further updates about our work as we enjoy our High Point, NC location.

Sincerely,

Brent Stackhouse

The Stackhouse Agency, LLC Conclusions - GEWKC 2015

The Stackhouse Agency, LLC Conclusions - GEWKC 2015

  • Skills, workspace & desired employee environments continue to change.

  • Many entrepreneurial ideas have been implemented; other individuals never venture to take action on a business idea.

  • Considering risk, some entrepreneurs are highly successful; others do not even find rewards by lasting past many of the timeframes (impetus, year, multiple-years & growth strategy stages).

  • Certain regions have experienced the benefits of an entrepreneurial culture and thriving startup environment.

  • Financial considerations are very important. (Angels, microfinancing, additional owner income as the business is developed, loans, inventory, workspace, etc.)

Concepts & Behavior - Behavioral Economics

Concepts & Behavior

Behavior is influenced by our concepts.  Particular ingrained concepts may not produce the best return on “sweat equity” or routine modes of behavior in attempts to achieve certain results.  Such sub-optimal concepts…“can be reduced if we introduce new words, and new units of measurement, to help shift patterns of thinking.”[1]  Financial concepts, the way one views currency, and the means of viewing a notion of value are profoundly important in the way in which one behaves.

Segments of the actions, choices, and motivations of a certain demographic are analyzed in behavioral economics.  We are able, with some understanding, to learn more about ourselves and our society when utilizing behavioral economics.  With such knowledge, even when we make certain choices that are not necessarily in line with our ultimate objective, we have a level of understanding – and can consider objectives in future situations.

Wealth is often a result of behavior.  Given constants, there are instances of increased wealth and decreased wealth for some individuals due to behavior.  The behavior is a component of what regularly takes place and the subsequent results viewed on a continuum.  Value is a major concept in economics.  Currency is a major concept in economics.  Investment, compound interest, trade, risk, and utilization are concepts that impact behavior.  With such concepts, a time horizon provides a framework for certain behavior of an individual at the present moment and in the future.

In addition to some recent behavioral economics research, The Stackhouse Agency, LLC has looked at other economic figures.  In reviewing the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics Preliminary second-quarter 2015 measures[1], there seem to be some decreases in the Real hourly compensation percentages from the previous quarter, yet not from the same quarter one year ago.

Sectors:

  • Nonfarm Business

  • Business

  • Manufacturing

  • Durable Manufacturing

  • Nondurable Manufacturing

Real hourly compensation is an area of many that have been reviewed.  Other changes during the year are notable.  Revised figures and third-quarter 2015 measures will provide further insight into the U.S. economy.
